  • Modular design for quick adjustments and repairs

Game Strategy

Decode™ Challenge (2025–2026 FTC)

The 2025-2026 FIRST® Tech Challenge game "Decode™" requires teams to collect and score purple and green ARTIFACTS into alliance GOALS, build MOTIF-based PATTERNS on ramps, and return robots to BASE before time expires. Each match begins with a randomized OBELISK MOTIF that influences scoring patterns and robot actions.

Our Approach

  • Autonomous: Decode the randomized MOTIF and execute reliable routines to score ARTIFACTS in goals and form MOTIF-specific PATTERNS early in the match.
  • TeleOp: Maintain high scoring throughput by collecting and delivering ARTIFACTS efficiently while refining cycle strategy and positioning.
  • Endgame: Coordinate alliance efforts to return robots to BASE before time runs out, ensuring extra points from end-of-match positioning.
  • Alliance: Strong communication and cooperative planning with alliance partners to balance scoring goals, MOTIF patterns, and endgame timing.
  • Adaptability: Flex strategy dynamically based on the MOTIF, field element distribution, and match flow.
